Large Round Marbled Bowl with Sand Wax Candle

This is the one that started it all for me. A large, hand-poured round bowl, marbled by hand so no two ever come out the same. It arrives ready to light with its own 500g of sand wax and wicks.

Hand Poured. Earth Formed. Every piece is cast by me in Cape Town from an eco acrylic resin composite (jesmonite-type). It is sturdy but still lightweight, and I can play with colour and finish, so you never get bored and every piece is one of a kind.

A little honesty: because it is all hand poured, you will see small imperfections here and there. That is exactly what makes your piece yours. Please expect it to differ slightly from the photos.

Why sand wax? It isn't your usual soy candle in a jar. Sand wax is loose, wax-coated sand, so the bowl looks like a little piece of the beach on your table. Only the sand around the wick melts, the rest stays put, and you can top it up with more sand wax when it runs low. The bowl stays on your shelf as a keepsake after the candle is done, instead of an empty jar that gets thrown out.
